The Corolla Cross Hybrid, while only available with all-wheel drive (AWD), exploits the inherent capability of the high-strength TNGA-C platform, allowing the all-new Corolla Cross Hybrid achieves high-quality performance, a comfortable ride, and exceptional spaciousness. Furthermore, the unexpected cargo capacity allows it to be adaptable to life's excursions.
The 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid will be offered in three new trim levels: S, SE, and XSE, in addition to the current LE and XLE. The S and SE trim levels include 17-inch alloy wheels, an incredible 8-inch HD touchscreen, a power-tuned suspension, LED head and tail lamps, and smart key access as standard. The Corolla Cross Hybrid's sportiest version, the XSE, improves on the SE's features and offers a standard 18-inch Alloy wheels, premium LED headlamps, taillamps, and fog lamps, Softex-trimmed seats with heated front seats and a power driver's seat. The Corolla Cross Hybrid Sport grades feature eye-catching elements that distinguish it different from its gas sister, such as unique front and back appearance. It's available with two-tone paint and optional 18-inch alloy wheels... with stylish looks that are sure to turn heads.
The new Corolla Cross Hybrid Multimedia System, with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and USB-C charge outlet, comes standard across all Corolla Cross grades for 2024. Any user can interact with the device using its simple touch and well tested voice interfaces. Drivers and passengers can make full use of the Toyota Connected Services Intelligent Assistant, Cloud Navigation, and Destination Assist, as well as the Connected Service Drive Connect program. Phrases like "Hey Toyota" activates the system for the integrated voice-activated instructions such as searching for directions, finding Places of Interest (POI), personalizing music controls, having full control of cabin temperatures, and much more.
The all-new Toyota Audio Multimedia system supports dual Bluetooth® phone connections with the addition of wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android compatibility. The Corolla Cross also includes an optional Wi-Fi Connect subscription that offers fast 4G connectivity for up to 5 devices, there by transforming the Corolla Cross into an AT&T Hotspot. Wi-Fi Connect trial or subscription enables the new Integrated Streaming feature, which allows customers to connect their Apple Music® and Amazon Music subscriptions for onboard control. In addition, Toyota offers USB data and a SiriusXM® Platinum Plan 3-month trial subscription.
The 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid provides enhanced power and fuel economy thanks to the new Fifth Generation Toyota Hybrid System beneath the hood, as well as the Electronic All-Wheel Drive system, which is new to the Corolla marque. The Corolla Cross Hybrid is exciting to drive, with 194 horsepower with an 8.0 second 0-60 time, and a remarkable manufacturer-estimated 37 total miles per gallon for all grades.
Toyota's suite of active safety technologies, is standard on 2024 Corolla Cross models and incorporates upgrades made possible by system sensors with increased detection capacity. In some settings, the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection can also detect motorcyclists. When making a turn or while approaching an intersection, the system is meant to identify forward or laterally approaching oncoming vehicles and, in certain scenarios, delivers audio/visual alerts and automatic braking. Lane Departure Alert with its Steering Assist and Lane Tracing Assist function better with improved lane identification.
Other standard safety features, in addition to the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system, include Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), which has been designed to detect and quickly warn you of approaching vehicles or located in the adjacent lanes, as well as Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which helps detect vehicles approaching from both sides while backing out and alerts you with a visual and audible warning. HAC (Hill Start Assist Control) is also standard.
